Whether you're a complete beginner or have some felting experience, you'll be guided through the process of building a seascape in wool, learning how to blend colours, create texture and add depth to capture the movement of the sea and sky.

Using a combination of wet felting techniques, you'll create your own unique coastal scene, from tranquil shorelines to dramatic waves and sunsets. Once your felted background is complete, we'll explore a variety of embellishment techniques using beads to add sparkle, texture and intricate details to your artwork.

Throughout the day you'll learn about fibre selection, layout, colour blending and design, while creating a finished piece ready to frame, display or gift.

What's Included

• Full tuition throughout the day

• All wool, fibres and felting materials - a huge selection of wools, silks, yarns, curly locks, neps etc

• A wide selection of beads and embellishments to use during the workshop

• A take-home pack of beads for future projects or additional embellishment at home

• Tea, coffee, cake and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere


Suitable for beginners and improvers alike. All materials are provided – simply bring yourself and enjoy a day of creativity inspired by the sea.

Parking is available within walking distance in Conwy on a pay and display basis.
